This privacy policy applies to this website (hereinafter the Website).

We reserve the right to update our privacy policy at any time due to business decisions, as well as to comply with eventual legislative or jurisprudential changes. You declare that the data you provide us, now or in the future, are correct and true and you agree to notify us of any changes to them. In case of providing personal data of third parties, you undertake to obtain the prior consent of those affected and to inform them about the content of this policy.

  1. Who is responsible for the processing of your data?
    Unless specifically indicated otherwise, the person responsible for processing the data collected on this website is the Empresa Municipal de Transports Urbans de Palma de Mallorca S.A.   2. What personal information do we obtain?
    The data we process are those obtained:
    • From the forms that you complete and the requests that you make on the Web. We also process the data included in the requests and petitions that we receive by email.
    • From profiles and analytics obtained from the navigation of users of the Web.

    The categories of data we process typically consist of:
    • Identification and contact data, including transport title, DNI or passport;
    • Data of personal characteristics, such as language and nationality;
    • Data related to your browsing, for example the IP address from which you connect to the Web, weblogs, pages visited or actions performed on the Web. To do this we use cookies and similar technologies that may involve tracking your browsing. More information in our Cookies Policy.
    • Other types of data included by users in their queries, comments or complaints.

  3. What will we treat your data for?
    The data of our users will be processed for the management of the relationship with them, the attention to their requests and queries, the provision of our services, the administration and management of the security of the web and the fulfillment of our legal obligations. This data will also be processed for analytical and quality improvement purposes.

  4. To whom can we communicate your data?
    Your data will only be communicated to third parties by legal obligation, with your consent or when your request implies such communication.
    On the other hand, you are informed that, when the circumstances related to the processing of a complaint or claim require so, the recipients of the personal information may be, among others, administrations or public entities, official bureaus, attorneys, judges and courts or insurance companies.

  5. Legal basis of the treatments
    The basis for the processing of your data is the management of the legal relationship established with you, the provision of the requested services and the fulfillment of legal obligations, especially the applicable accounting and tax regulations.
    The following treatments are based on the existence of a legitimate interest:
    • The management of the security of the Web is based on the existence of our legitimate interest in guaranteeing the security of our systems.
    • The realization of statistics and quality control are based on our legitimate interest to evaluate our services.

    The following treatments are based on your consent, without the withdrawal of such consent conditioning the provision of the contracted services:
    • The creation of browsing profiles based on the information obtained from cookies or similar technologies.

  6. How long will we keep your data?
    In general, we keep your data during the validity of the relationship you maintain with us and in any case during the periods provided in the applicable legal provisions and for the time necessary to attend to possible responsibilities arising from the treatment. We will cancel your data when they are no longer necessary or relevant for the purposes for which they were collected. Access logs to restricted areas of the web will be canceled one month after their creation. The information related to browsing will be canceled once the web connection has ended and the statistics have been made.

  7. What are your rights?
    You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether or not we are treating your personal data and, if so, to access it. You can also request your data to be rectified when it is inaccurate or that incomplete data be completed, as well as request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
    In certain circumstances, you may request the limitation of the processing of your data. In such a case, we will only treat the affected data for the formulation, exercise or defense of claims or with a view to protecting the rights of other people. Under certain conditions and for reasons related to your particular situation, you may also oppose the processing of your data. In this case, we will stop processing the data except for compelling legitimate reasons that prevail over your interests or rights and freedoms, or for the formulation, exercise or defense of claims.

    Likewise, and under certain conditions, you may request the portability of your data so that they are transmitted to another data controller.

    You can revoke the consent you have given for certain purposes, without affecting the legality of the treatment based on the consent prior to its withdrawal.
    You also have the right to file a claim with a data protection authority.

         8. Información a los usuarios sobre la política de privacidad vinculada a la subvención de la gratuidad del bus en la EMT Palma durante el 2023

Se informa a los usuarios del transporte público, clientes y potenciales clientes de los datos personales que podrán recabarse, según se establece en la concesión de una subvención nominativa a la Comunidad Autónoma de las Illes Balears para el establecimiento de un descuento del 100% en el precio de los abonos de transporte y títulos multiviaje del transporte público colectivo terrestre de las Illes Balears del Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbanos para el año 2023. En concreto, podrán recabarse: el identificador del abono, el DNI del usuario del abono, el tiempo de duración, el trayecto o zona cubiertos, y la fecha en que fue expedido. Para los títulos multiviaje: el identificador del título, el itinerario o ámbito territorial de aplicación al cual corresponde el título, el número de viajes que incluye el título y la fecha de expedición, que serán puestas a disposición del Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbana del Gobierno de España, con el fin de comprobar el cumplimiento de los objetivos perseguidos con la concesión de esta subvención y la justificación de su aplicación. Así mismo, se informa a los usuarios del transporte público, clientes y potenciales clientes de la posibilidad de ejercicio de los derechos: de acceso, rectificación, supresión, limitación del tratamiento, obligación de notificación relativa a la rectificación o supresión, portabilidad, oposición, limitación del tratamiento, a no ser objeto de decisiones individualizadas automáticas, reconocidos en los artículos 15 a 22 del Reglamento (UE) 2016/679, así como en la Ley Orgánica 3/2018, de 5 de diciembre, de Protección de Datos Personales y Garantía de los Derechos Digitales, dirigiéndose al Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbana, Paseo de la Castellana, 67,28.071-Madrid o por medio del correo electrónico dirgtt@mitma.es
